King Charles told Prince Harry that Meghan Markle was "not welcome" at Balmoral

King Charles told Prince Harry that Meghan Markle was "not welcome" at

Balmoral

As per a newspaper, King Charles III informed his son Prince Harry that Meghan Markle was not "welcome" to attend Balmoral with the rest of the royal family. If true, the allegation would explain why Meghan was initially revealed to be traveling to Balmoral with Prince Harry on Thursday, only to be abruptly announced to be not present.

A source quoted: "Charles informed Harry it wasn't right or appropriate for Meghan to be in Balmoral at such a profoundly sad moment. It was clear to him that Kate would not be attending and that only the immediate family should be present. Meghan was not welcome, as Charles stated explicitly.

William's wife Kate Middleton stayed back in England to look after their three young children, who had just started a new school that day.

The newspaper claims that there was ample space on the plane that Prince William, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, and his wife Sophie took to the north; likewise, with Harry at his British base of Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, any one of the nearby royals could have shared a car with him to the airport. However, Harry ultimately made the trip alone. According to The Sun, Harry was "denied" a seat on the flight.

In fact, the news of Queen Elizabeth's demise at Balmoral came while Harry was still in flight on a private jet and the other royals have already arrived at the castle. After taking an hour and a half to reach the former king's Scottish home, Harry left Balmoral early on Friday morning in order to take the first British Airways flight of the day from Aberdeen back to London.

"Seeing him without the other royals consoling him was very painful. I genuinely hope that the queen's passing will help in their reconciliation.

According to a passenger, "He scarcely moved for the entire hour-long journey and was clearly thinking about his loving grandmother. The absence of the other royals to console him made me sad. My sincere wish is that the queen's passing would aid in their reconciliation.

In the end, it's believed that the queen's only company at her death were Prince Charles and Princess Anne, who was staying at Balmoral while Charles was nearby in his Scottish home. While Charles, William, and Harry left for England on Friday, Anne, Andrew, Edward, and Sophie stayed in Balmoral.

The news-making olive branch Charles extended to the pair on Friday afternoon in his first televised speech as King contrasted sharply with his direct request that Meghan stay away.

Charles stated in the speech from Buckingham Palace, "I also want to express my affection for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their life abroad. But given what they have said and claimed in earlier interviews about their treatment within the royal family, William and Harry remain separated, and the family continues to harbor distrust of Harry and Meghan. The royals are also concerned about any new revelations Harry might make in his forthcoming memoir.

It's challenging to spend so much time with someone you know is ready to publish a tell-all book about you, as per one royal source. Although she was Harry's adored grandmother, I believe people recognize that the queen served as the head of the organization they have disparaged.

The newspaper report quoted a source as saying, "I think the overall reaction to Harry and Meghan's conduct has been one of incredulity. Even if you only look at the most recent weeks, you can see that the duchess has started giving candid interviews. Living in a kind of LA bubble, they look to be very cut off from reality. Seriously, that is amazing.

There are no reservations about the roles both Harry and Meghan will play during Queen Elizabeth's burial and how important those roles would indeed be.

William and Harry were reportedly back at their Windsor nearby cottages last night, but the newspaper also claimed that "there has been hardly any, communication between them."
